Dave Thompson’s Organic Healthy Grow® is a high quality chicken litter fertilizer that Dave produces using his unique, aerobic composting process. Dave turned to EPIC Creative and together we realized that the key differentiator for his fertilizer is the way that it’s made. “The Way It’s Made Matters™” became our anthem and we set about launching his campaign.
“The Way It’s Made Matters™” campaign brought all of our departments together to create a seamless look and voice for the brand.
Starting with our creative team, we created a whole new look for print and web advertisements. We wanted to showcase the product and its attributes in an updated clean look that we could carry through to the website.
Adding a responsive design to healthygrow.com mobile improved user experience across all platforms.
We also brought the brand to Pandora Internet radio for 30-second spots and used animated web banners to target our demographic and drive them to healthygrow.com. The results were impressive, with 3.1 million impressions and over 12,000 click-throughs to the website.
Our public relations team helped Healthy Grow partner with community gardening initiatives across the country and team up with the Chicago Cubs for a sweepstakes where fans would have the chance to be a member of the grounds crew for a day. In only two weeks, almost 1,000 participants entered to win.
Rounding out the campaign, our social media team developed content to build consumer engagement, build brand affinity and drive our audience to the Healthy Grow website. Our efforts generated almost 2 million impressions and over 65,000 ad clicks.
