Social Media Content Supervisor

The Social Media Content Supervisor (SMCS) is responsible for leading the social media content team and overseeing the social media planning, strategy, and content implementation for EPIC Creative’s clients. This individual will work with other departments within the agency to build social strategy and framework ensuring that all social activity is relevant to the client’s brand and organic social strategies.

The SMCS will work with the Content Director to spearhead the growth and development of EPIC Creative’s social media and related digital offerings. Additionally, they will be involved in strategic planning, research, social media planning and development, proposal writing and will participate in client pitches and presentations.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the growth and development of the social media team along with the training and on-boarding of new employees
  • Work with senior management, account and creative teams to develop strategic, effective social media plans for agency clients
  • Strategize, develop and implement advanced social media campaign plans that stay true to brand direction, voice and content pillars and include evaluation criteria, metrics and strategic follow-through
  • Supervise and mentor social media team members
  • Stay up to date on new trends, techniques and functionality in the digital space and educate both employees of EPIC and clients on these changes
  • Manage client organic social budgets, reporting and maintenance/data analysis
  • Collaborate with senior management on new business proposals and presentations to new/current clients
  • Monitor and adjust department hours/budgets to meet EPIC goals and client needs

What You'll Need

  • 5-7 years of agency or client-side experience in social media and digital strategy
  • 2+ years of team management and staff leadership
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or related field
  • Significant experience in digital marketing and social media technology, strategy and execution of daily content creation
  • Experience with social listening tools, social management platforms and digital media technologies
  • Advanced knowledge of social platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and LinkedIn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and strong work ethic
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully adapt to each client’s brand voice
  • Experience managing both B2B and B2C clients
  • Ability to think and lead strategically
