Over the past few years, EPIC has been responsible for more and more trade show booth production. Not that we’re any strangers to trade shows—for decades, we’ve serviced clients at the Golf Industry Show and others as opportunities arose. As our client portfolio continues expanding, we’ve become immersed in many more, with additional prospects on the horizon.

Our green approach at GIS

The Golf Industry Show (GIS) is still our most sizeable event. Every year we send over 20 EPIC employees to the show, each responsible for designing or assisting in different booths. This year we partnered with GCSAA (the GIS management organization) in the design and construction of the largest natural indoor golf course, depicting a golf tournament setting right in the middle of the trade show. We also designed and managed the GCSAA.tv Live main stage featured in the center of the green, from which we produced two days of programming directly related to trade show events.

Perfect 300 at Bowl Expo

Another notable EPIC trade show design is the Storm Bowling booth for Bowl Expo. We have been working with Storm for several years, but last year our new booth hit a strike with illuminated bowling ball pedestals, rotating bowling ball carousels, a 6’ chrome cutaway bowling ball/core sculpture, and an 8’ x 18’ curved video wall. Every year the Storm booth stands out as the most unique booth at the Expo.

A whole landscape of possibility

And finally, the pièce de résistance! With six landscape equipment brands, Schiller Grounds Care is one of EPIC’s largest clients. Each year, they exhibit at the Green Industry & Equipment Expo (GIE+EXPO). This show’s scale requires a booth large enough to feature all brands under the Schiller halo. But because they participate in so many shows, they needed reusable components designed to fit a range of booth sizes for future applications.

Once EPIC was awarded this project, we designed an ambitious modular trade booth system to meet Schiller’s needs and exceed their expectations. In its full-form version, the booth covers a 50 x 60-foot space with a center hexagon tower/conference room, linked with brand headers to three large rectangular towers.

The products dedicated to larger brands wove between those towers, smaller brand towers and counters. At 22 feet, these towers offered great sightlines from anywhere in the vicinity. The booth design has been met with wide acclaim, as Schiller continues using its components for trade shows and events since its introduction at GIE+EXPO 2017.

A team effort

Each of these EPIC booth designs was a success thanks to the talented teams behind each project. Many thanks to all for their efforts and to our exhibit builder, Pete Schassler of Schassler Studios, for his craftsmanship on these fine representations of EPIC Creative’s vision and talent.
